Pepper follows Captain Condor, exiled to Titan for opposing a ruthless dictator, as he and his companions encounter hostile alien creatures called Kipplegriffs. "The Lone Commandos" depicts Sergeants Tempest and Cramner executing a daring raid to destroy a German munitions depot and radar station during World War II, culminating in pursuit by an armoured train. "Jingo Jones and His Invisibiliser" by Tom Stirling presents the titular character and his companion Bob using an invisibility device to prevent a science master from being humiliated when his experimental apparatus malfunctions at a boathouse. Detective Brett Marlowe and his chauffeur Rusty Race respond to a Scotland Yard alert about a safe robber fleeing south in a black saloon, only to discover a crashed car ablaze on a moonlit road outside London. When Brett examines the scene, he realizes the wreck is no accident—carefully placed clues suggest the driver was deliberately forced off the road and murdered, and the stolen banknotes may still be hidden nearby. Brett's investigation points to a solitary house down the road, setting the detective on the trail of the culprit.
