Lion #97

Lion #97 is an anthology issue containing several stories. "Captain Condor and the Space Ship" follows space pilot Captain Condor in the year 3000 as he pursues a spy and becomes embroiled in a dogfight with enemy spacecraft. A second story features Matt and Salty in a Western adventure involving a dangerous mountain pass and a race with the Red Centuries cavalry. "Rory: Mick the Mountie's Dog," written by Victor Norman, tells of Rory, a Mountie's dog who helps locate his missing boy pal in snowy terrain, discovering the boy had fallen through an ice hole. The issue also includes "World-Wide Quiz," an interactive trivia feature with ten questions covering topics from animals to history and military uniforms.
