Little Eva and her friend Nipper try to make a special get-well cake for their sick friend Susie, following a recipe with enthusiastic but clumsy results. When the cake turns out disastrously — upside down and made with car grease — they decide to spin it as a surprise, only to find it makes them both feel ill.

Little Eva is disappointed when it starts raining just as she's about to head to her dancing lesson, but her mother agrees it's too wet to go out. After canceling the lesson, Little Eva's mother sends Nipper Nuggin to deliver the news, and the dog returns with a message that the lesson has been postponed.

In a playful twist on friendship and rivalry, a group of boys decide to be kind to Eva for a week, hoping to win an invitation to her upcoming girls' party. As their efforts to be nice quickly spiral into a series of clumsy mishaps, Eva remains skeptical—until she finally agrees to let them attend, setting up a lighthearted showdown of intentions and awkward gestures.

Little Eva finds herself accidentally turned green after using a homemade soap Nipper created, leaving her too self-conscious to attend dancing class. Desperate to hide her color, she covers her face in flour, only to have it turn into paste in the rain, leading to a series of mishaps and a surprising twist when her green face becomes an unexpected fashion trend.

A young woman, bored and lonely, eavesdrops on a party line and overhears neighbors gossiping—especially about her father. When the conversation turns to her, she’s caught off guard, realizing the chatter has suddenly become personal.

Little Eva and Nipper enjoy a morning walk in the park, where Eva’s absent-mindedness leads her to accidentally float away on a bunch of balloons, landing in the lion’s cage. As she tries to escape, she stumbles into a series of mishaps—mistaken for a lion, nearly eaten, and trapped in a tree—before the zookeeper finally rescues her.

Little Eva decides to turn her toy chest into a "hope chest" for her future wedding and tries on her mother’s dress, imagining herself as a bride. She excitedly shows off her costume to Nipper, Hot-Rod, and Ike, only to be met with confusion as each misinterprets her intentions—leading to a series of comically awkward misunderstandings.
