Little Ike #3

Little Ike hides a bag of peanuts after his mother warns him not to get dirty, only to discover they’ve vanished when he tries to enjoy them. He suspects a squirrel and enlists the help of Little Eva and the Scouts, setting up a trap that leads to a frantic chase and a surprising discovery.

Little Ike accidentally brings home a magical bottle containing Little Witch Hazel, who escapes and whisks him away on a fantastical tour of Witchland—where he sees ghost school, an un-beauty shop, a bat ballroom, and more—before returning home just in time to explain his delay to his mother.

Little Ike rallies his friends to observe "Be Kind to Eva Week" after realizing they’ve been rough on her, launching a series of increasingly clumsy attempts to be nice—complete with a disastrous chair-lifting plan and a suspiciously "special" drink. Eva, skeptical of their sudden change of heart, is soon overwhelmed by the chaos, though the boys insist their intentions are good, even as their efforts backfire.

Little Eva stumbles upon a pocketbook that turns out to belong to Mrs. Perch, leading to a surprising payoff when the owner returns to claim it. Butch and Spike, who had earlier stolen the book for a prank, are left baffled when Eva’s clever act backfires. As the story unfolds, Little Ike and Mrs. Perch witness the twist, leaving the outcome of the prank—and who really benefited—up in the air.

Little Ike is sent on an errand to return Mrs. Turner’s frying pan, but his friends Bobby and Eddie convince him to use it to cook a campfire meal instead. As they attempt to make "ham and eggs" with liverwurst and raw eggs, things quickly go awry—leading to a messy, blackened disaster and a frantic effort to clean the pan before returning it.
