Little Eva recruits a reluctant boy named Hot-Rod to play house and take on the role of her doll Daisy's father, sweetening the deal with the promise of chocolate-covered marshmallow cookies. When Hot-Rod tries to back out, she and her friends discover that the promise of treats is a powerful incentive—though the boys' embarrassment over playing house sets up a chain of comedic chaos as more kids get roped into the scheme.

Hot-Rod receives a genuine space suit in the mail and decides he needs a toy rocket ship to complete his cosmic outfit—but when he launches it from a tree, things get wonderfully out of hand. Armed with directions from his space suit and a homemade space gun, Hot-Rod transforms himself into a pint-sized intergalactic troublemaker, turning the neighborhood upside down and giving his friends Spike and Butch a run they won't soon forget.

Little Eva causes delightful chaos when her father brings his boss home for an unannounced overnight stay and a dinner her mother hasn't prepared for. As the evening spirals into one mishap after another—from a crash in the living room to a frog in the bedroom—Eva does her best to help, but her efforts only seem to make things worse for the harried household.

What starts as a clever con unravels into a chaotic game of tug-of-war that leaves everyone—especially Little Eva—scrambling to salvage the day.

Little Eva and her friend Nipper embark on a treasure hunt after reading about hidden riches, searching everywhere from the attic to an abandoned house on the edge of town. When they finally unearth a heavy, locked chest in the basement, they'll stop at nothing to crack it open—but what they discover inside might not be quite what they bargained for.
