Love Diary #27
In "Kisses I Couldn't Forget," Arlene navigates the bittersweet ache of unrequited love after her college classmate Kurt marries her best friend Fay. As she starts a new job and tries to move on, old feelings resurface when a new romance with Stan is derailed by a slip of the tongue—her heart still calls out to Kurt. Written by Mort Leav and inked by Bob Rogers, this tender 1952 tale captures the quiet heartbreak and fragile hope of young love, all rendered in the expressive style of its creators.
