Stella’s boyfriend Tooly discovers talented boxer Red, who will get a shot at the championship. Tooly mistakenly thinks Red and Stella are in love, and breaks up with her. Tooly tells Red to throw the fight, but when Stella convinces Tooly that he’s the one she loves, he changes his orders. Red wins. Tooly is shot and wounded by gangsters but will recover and marry Stella.
