On her way to visit the ranch she’s inherited, Carol nearly drowns in a flood but is rescued by rancher John. She recovers on his ranch and learns there has been bad blood for years between his family and the owners of the neighboring ranch. Carol and John are in love, so she tries to talk John out of continuing the feud, but his relative Francie fans the flames. However, when Carol reveals herself to be the new owner of the "enemy" ranch, John forgets about feuding and they kiss.
