Dale marries Ben and later learns he’s a fugitive from justice. He vanishes. Dale decides to treat men as “a means of free suppers and shows,” but then meets Larry, just coming off a bad divorce. They fall in love, however she doesn’t tell Larry she’s still married. Ben returns and orders Dale to get $1000 from Larry. Dale tells Larry she doesn't love him, so he'll leave her. However, Ben – just before he’s shot to death by the police -- tells Larry that Dale is innocent. Now Dale and Larry can wed.
