“An Empty House”

In "An Empty House," Man-Thing’s journey takes a haunting turn as a fractured reality unravels around Ellen, who finds herself trapped in a dreamlike idyllic life with Ted—only to have it shattered by the chilling arrival of Mr. Termineus and a shocking revelation about Job. Written by John Marc DeMatteis and brought to life with striking art by Liam Sharp, this 1998 Marvel issue blends psychological tension with supernatural dread, all rendered in vivid colors by Christie Scheele and sharp lettering by Jon Babcock. The cover, also by Liam Sharp, captures the eerie stillness of a world on the edge of collapse.
