“The Duck & the Muck”

In "The Duck & the Muck," writer John Marc DeMatteis and artist Liam Sharp deliver a wild, swamp-soaked clash as the Cult of Entropy targets both Man-Thing and Howard the Duck—each holding a piece of the Nexus of All Realities. With the cover by Liam Sharp capturing the chaos in bold, inky detail, this 1998 Marvel issue pushes the boundaries of the absurd, blending cosmic stakes with the series' signature grotesque humor.

The Cult of Entropy tries to destroy the Man-Thing, the one creature capable of repairing the Nexus of All Realities, and Howard the Duck, who carries a fragment of the Nexus inside him. However, the cult's plans go awry when the fragment merges with Man-Thing, decimating their ranks, but also withering the swamp creature.
