It is revealed that Loki resurrected the real Jake Olson and used him to commit crimes to frame Thor's alter ego. Jake passes the evil doer off as his twin brother, Loren, who is thrown in jail. Odin traps Loki's spirit inside the body of Loren indefinitely. Thor breaks his ties and leaves the Jake persona behind.
