Polly Garrett, the sheriff’s daughter, grows suspicious of Angela Crane, a well-dressed stranger claiming to seek her brother in the Badlands. When Angela arrives with a mysterious escort, the Masked Raider, Polly’s suspicions deepen—especially when she learns the man she once admired, Les Wilcox, is involved. As the Masked Raider guides Angela into the harsh frontier, a dangerous secret begins to unfold.

In the dusty frontier town, Barney Fleer’s beloved stallion, Beauty, suddenly turns wild and destructive, leaving the cowboy heartbroken and the townsfolk furious. As a posse sets out to hunt down the rampaging horse, the Masked Raider and his loyal steed White-Star track the animal to an old trap, where they discover the stallion is injured by thorns—revealing a deeper mystery behind its rampage.

In the aftermath of a storm that swept a ferry barge into a raging river, a Texas Ranger named Blaine Calhoun finds himself handcuffed to a man he believes to be the outlaw Tom Hardy — but the sheriff insists the man is actually a dead prisoner. As the two men trek toward town, the Ranger grows suspicious of the unconscious man’s behavior, leading to a tense confrontation under the cover of night.

The Masked Raider tracks the legendary Catamount Kid, a figure rumored to be both a ruthless outlaw and a folk hero who steals from the rich to give to the poor. When the Masked Raider confronts him, he learns the Catamount Kid has orchestrated a bank heist and is using the chaos to lure him into a trap, forcing the Masked Raider to race against time to stop the violence before innocent lives are lost.
