This issue of "Masked Raider" presents three stories: "The Bullwhip" featuring Billy the Kid as a fearless western outlaw forced to show his sworn enemy his hand; "Molasses Mouth," a humorous tale about an ill ranch worker named Molasses Mouth who loses his job and encounters his former boss; "A Day at Our Ranch," an informational piece detailing the daily operations and routines of a working cattle ranch; and "Jess James in Scoop," in which the famous outlaw Jess James is captured by a posse led by the Wilson Gang, an incident that becomes a major newspaper story when a reporter plans to interview James.
