Ms. Marvel battles Doomsday Man in a cave she is mysteriously drawn to. She is finally able to disable the robot by activating a failsafe device originally installed in the robot's body by its creator, Dr. Kronton. The Destructor, searching the cave for Kree weaponry, opens the psyche-magnitron, a Kree power device, and overloads on its power burst, driving him mad and destroying the cave. The resulting explosion exposes Carol for the second time to the Power Stone, with unknown consequences. Dr. Barnett wants to talk to Carol about her secret identity.
