My Own Romance #31
In "Should A Girl Wait," newlyweds Marion and Frank navigate the quiet drama of adjusting to married life after moving into Frank’s family mansion in New York. As Marion strives to fit in with his elite circle, she transforms her style and throws lavish parties—only to be gently reminded by Frank that he loves her for who she truly is. A heartfelt moment of connection unfolds in this 1953 romance, drawn with quiet sincerity by Al Hartley, whose expressive art brings the emotional beats to life. The cover, also by Hartley, captures the tender, introspective mood of the story.
