In "Dead Letter Office," Morbius seeks help from Hannibal King, only to be rejected—just as Richie Regent reaches out to the Nightstalkers over a mysterious letter from a dwarf with the power to erase magic. Blade takes matters into his own hands, while Stonecold and Slaughter unexpectedly join forces to hunt Morbius. Morbius goes to Hannibal King for help, but Hannibal refuses to help him. Meanwhile, Richie Regent calls the Nightstalkers for help with his sister Sam, who has a letter from the dwarf that can wipe magic from the earth. Blade gets the message and takes the tape recording so that he can handle it by himself. Stonecold and Slaughter run into each other and decide to team up to get Morbius. When "Linda" fails to cure him he goes crazy and attempts to drain Hannibal King, who in turn tries to drain Morbius. Lt. Belial also continues his efforts to create new vampiric warriors to help D.O.A.
