When the child's mother returns home, the con artist tries to sell her "dick soup," claiming he can resell it to the child, then pivots to hawking a sled to the family. In a separate story involving Deputy "Nuk," an investigation unfolds when unusual handprints are discovered in the snow around a camp, leading the deputy and others to track down a mysterious suspect.
