In the snowy aftermath of a chaotic contest, a young man and his friend find their snow statues destroyed, leading them to suspect sabotage and embark on a playful, icy chase across the tundra. A grifter posing as a salesman tries to unload a series of increasingly absurd inventions on a young boy in charge of his mother’s home, only to be stumped when the boy’s mother returns and reveals she’s saving her fox skins for an icebox — the very thing he’s been selling. With each failed pitch, the man’s elaborate schemes unravel, leaving him flustered and outmaneuvered by a child who knows exactly what his mother wants.

Pinky and his father discover a mysterious batch of carrots that seem to vanish and reappear on their own, sparking confusion and fear. When Pinky befriends a hidden snowshoe rabbit named Max—only visible when standing against a dark object—the duo must figure out how to protect their precious carrots from a hungry fox who’s after a different kind of meal.

Pinky the Egghead dons a sleuthing outfit and declares himself an Eskimo detective, enlisting two deputies to investigate suspicious handprints in the snow. When they track a mysterious figure who’s been walking on his hands and vanishes into an igloo, Pinky’s hound—a surprisingly sharp-witted bird—leads them to uncover the truth behind the missing mittens.
