# Pep Comics #27 This issue contains multiple stories. In one tale, a monk and a traitor named Keith Morgan both seek a valuable ruby; after the monk attempts to steal it, he escapes but later discovers it hidden in an innocent-looking package, leading to a confrontation where the ruby is found on a murdered man's throat. Another story follows American soldiers on an island who encounter an invasion barge and engage in combat with enemy forces while dealing with supply and communication challenges. A third story depicts a school election where Andrews is nominated as a candidate, with the school's psychology teacher noting suspicious negative propaganda circulating about him before a student assembly is held to hear from the election candidates.
