An anthology featuring Pinky the Egghead in humorous and whimsical tales. "Noodnik in Ringside Nonsense" follows a small character aspiring to become a boxer like his hero, dreaming of earning money for boxing gloves and training. "Pinky Penguin Jr." depicts a young penguin's desire to fly, leading to comic conflict with his father who takes drastic measures to discourage the idea. The issue also includes "Noodnik's Fables," a collection of moral tales such as "The Bundle of Sticks" (illustrating unity gives strength), "The Trumpeter Taken Prisoner" (words may be deeds), and "The Buffoon and the Countryman" (men applaud imitation and hiss the real thing).
