Power-Man #21
In "La Golonorina," Lucas—wrongfully imprisoned and desperate for parole—volunteers for a risky medical experiment that goes awry when a violent guard sabotages the procedure. The resulting chemical bath transforms him, granting him steel-hard skin, and he escapes, presumed dead after his bullet-riddled shirt is found. Now hunted and driven by vengeance, Lucas sets out to confront Stryker, the man who framed him and was responsible for Reva’s death. Written by Archie Goodwin and S. Dulcet, with dynamic art by George Tuska and John Romita and inks by Billy Graham and John Romita, this 1980 issue features a cover by John Romita, who also handled the pencils and inks.
