Prize Comics #17

Prize Comics #17 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "The Black Owl Foils Plans of the Enemy Raider" depicts the costumed hero Black Owl battling enemy forces attempting to attack a hospital ship at sea. "Yank & Doodle—Frankenstein!" follows two characters encountering a creature on a film set, where they unmask an imposter and deal with behind-the-scenes intrigue involving missing jewels and a rival named Greta. A third story features Spike Mason, an ace agent of U.S. Naval Intelligence, undertaking a dangerous mission in South Seas combat zones against Nazi and Japanese forces, including encounters on islands and confrontations with enemy officers.
