Lady Vermin escapes from the Legacy Virus-infected mutants who have captured the Knights of Wundagore for Exodus and makes her way home to tell Quicksilver where his crew is being held. Lord Anon, still free, rescues his fellow Knights and takes them to the Savage Land where Quicksilver and Sir Ram catch up with them. Quicksilver and the Knights are reunited with the High Evolutionary who has been hiding out in the Savage Land but find he has devolved into an ape form.
