Quicksilver #9
In "Escape from the Savage Land," Quicksilver and the Knights race against time to stop the High Evolutionary from unraveling in the wilds of the Savage Land, where he's clinging to human form with the mysterious Isotope E. As the Acolytes and a group of Legacy Virus-stricken heroes converge to claim the isotope, the team barely escapes—only for a quiet betrayal to unfold in the shadows. Written by John Ostrander and Joe Edkin, with dynamic art by Ivan Reis and Randy Emberlin, and a striking cover by Derec Aucoin and John Dell, this 1998 issue delivers high-stakes action and hidden tensions in a lush, dangerous setting.
