Radio Fun #984 is an all-star picture weekly anthology featuring multiple stories. "The Falcon" follows a masked vigilante whose real identity is revealed to be Jill Delroy in disguise; she has infiltrated a criminal operation to recover a stolen fortune belonging to Professor Delroy and rescue kidnapped prisoners held in Africa. "Norman Wisdom" is a comedic strip about the titular character's misadventures involving rent collection and encounters with an elastic band. "Andy and Sandy" tells of young Andy Wilson, who runs away from home and is amazed to find that Mr. Turner, his girl-friend Madge's father, has been helping the police recover stolen property, which Andy then gathers up for the police. "Inspector Stanley" is a detective story in which Inspector Stanley investigates a murder at the Half Moon restaurant, with the case turning on identifying which diner was actually the victim and uncovering the murderer's motive. The issue also includes a feature on entertainer Dickie Henderson, discussing his career in theatre, radio, and television.
