Radio Fun #988 is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. "The Falcon" follows a master criminal imposter known as "The Duke" who disguises himself with sponges and infiltrates Scotland Yard, only to be exposed and forced to flee when the real Colonel Steel arrives. "Norman Wisdom" depicts a comedic situation where Norman attempts to sell newspapers and an evening blower to various customers, eventually selling them all to his boss's circulation manager for a substantial profit. "Andy and Sandy" tells of young Andy Wilson running away from his stepmother with his dog Sandy, discovering a burgled house where he must prevent the police from being called while trying to protect his stepfather's reputation. The issue also includes an interview with 18-year-old singing star Terry Dene discussing his rise to fame through coffee shops and wrestling matches.
