Radio Fun #989 is an anthology issue containing three main features. "The Falcon" tells of a masked crime-fighter waging war against injustice, specifically targeting the crooked impostor known as "The Duke" who has kidnapped the daughter of Professor Delroy; the Falcon must navigate subterranean passages and recover a map to rescue Jill Delroy and regain control of the Delroy millions. "Norman Wisdom" presents a humorous comic strip in which a small plumber named Norman is sent on various job calls, causing comedic mishaps as he repeatedly goes to wrong addresses and creates domestic disasters. The issue also includes "Andy and Sandy," following young Andy Wilson as he runs away from home with his dog Sandy to escape bullies, only to become entangled with a criminal gang and discover a stolen idol at Mr. Turner's house, leading to a dangerous confrontation with thieves and police.
