This is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. The cover story, "When the Wild Comanches Ride," follows Firehair, a girl of the pioneer west, as she searches for her father across dangerous frontier terrain alongside a companion named Milt, evading guards and facing threats from coyotes, wolves, and potentially hostile Indian bands before finally locating him at a campfire. "The Secret Files of Dr. Drew" presents Dr. Drew's discovery of the ghost town of Skull Valley, a former colonial port destroyed by pirates in 1700, where he encounters mysterious supernatural occurrences. Additional stories include "The Strangest Man Alive" featuring Dr. Drew, and a story involving a wild boy named Jan and winged creatures called gyr-falcs and demons in an exotic jungle setting.
