In "null," Richie Rich tries to win a costume prize at a charity ball by dressing as a street urchin—but when he forgets his wallet, he can’t pay the entrance fee. Despite his desperate claims, no one believes a ragged kid like him could be the wealthy Richie Rich, and his predicament only gets more awkward. Just when it seems he’s out of luck, a surprising twist lets him finally slip inside.

In "Early To Bed," Richie Rich tries to live up to his father’s "early to bed, early to rise" advice by making the most of his day—starting with hauling football gear to an out-of-town game. Tired and groggy, he’s constantly interrupted from napping, from the schoolyard to the field, until he’s finally thrust into the game itself, scoring the winning touchdown while half-asleep. Back home, he collapses into bed, only to be mistaken by Mr. Rich for having lazily wasted the whole day.

When Gloria gifts Richie a parakeet named Jo-Jo, the little bird’s escape sets off a chaotic hunt across the Rich estate, involving the staff, Freckles, and all of Richie’s friends. As the search spirals into a parade of mistaken identities, everyone from the butler to the gardener ends up buying a new parakeet—until a surprising twist leaves Richie surrounded by dozens of birds, none of which he can be sure is the real Jo-Jo.
