Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time: The Eye of the World #13
Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time: The Eye of the World #13 (2011, Dynamite Entertainment) delivers a tense, atmospheric escalation as the group is cornered by a wave of trollocs and their eerie Fade commander. With Lan's decisive strike against the Fade leaving the beasts disoriented, Moiraine uses fire and deception to buy time—but the only refuge left is the abandoned city that even trollocs and myrddraals dread. Marcio Fiorito’s bold artwork, with its stark contrasts and haunting detail, brings the dread of the unknown to life, while Nicolas Chapuis’s colors deepen the sense of foreboding.
