Sgt. Fury #33
In "The Grandeur That Was Greece," Sgt. Fury and the Howlers take on a high-stakes mission to deliver Peter Kazantis, a key figure in the Greek Underground, safely home—only to face betrayal from within and a deadly ambush by the Nazis. With the help of Captain Simon "Skipper" Savage’s submarine, the team races against time, but the presence of an infiltrator named Ravonne casts a shadow over every move. Written by Roy Thomas and illustrated by Dick Ayers, with inks by John Tartaglione and letters by Sam Rosen, the cover by Ayers and Tartaglione captures the tension of a war-torn journey.
