“Act 3: Blood and Bullets”

In "Act 3: Blood and Bullets," Silke returns to the lab that forged her, driven by the death of Dr. Jenson and a growing dread about the experiments still underway. As she uncovers the truth behind the morphing process—her own genetic material being used to create new subjects—she makes a desperate stand, destroying the vials before being captured. Written and illustrated by Tony Daniel, with cover art by Daniel himself, this 2001 Dark Horse issue delivers a tense, atmospheric dive into Silke’s origins and the cost of her existence.
