Silver Surfer / Warlock: Resurrection #1
In "The Pact," Jim Starlin delivers a haunting, high-stakes tale as the Silver Surfer is forced to confront his past when Pip and Drax steal his board, driving him to Warlock’s isolated base on Monster Island. With the fate of Shalla Bal hanging in the balance, Warlock proposes a dangerous resurrection ritual using the Surfer’s power and the Soul and Mind Gems—only to unleash a rift that draws in demonic forces from beyond. With art and inks by Starlin himself, and colors by Ian Laughlin, this 1993 Marvel issue blends cosmic dread and emotional weight, all anchored by a cover by Starlin that captures the gravity of the moment.
