After sealing a dimensional breach, the Infinity Watch manage to restore Shalla Bal's body to life, but her soul is missing. Pip transports Warlock and the Surfer to Mistress Death's realm, but Shalla's soul is not in her possession. A careless comment by the Surfer causes her to transport the whole group into Mephisto's realm.
