Simpsons Comics #78
"In Burns We Trust" sees Ned Flanders stepping behind the camera for a heartfelt documentary on Springfield’s landmarks, aided by Rod and Todd. What starts as a tribute to the town’s history quickly spirals into chaos when the crew accidentally runs over a drunken Barney and stumbles into the wreckage of a Kwik-E-Mart robbery. Written by Jesse Leon McCann and illustrated by Phil Ortiz, with inks by Tim Harkins and colors by Karen Bates, this 2003 Titan Comics installment captures the series’ signature blend of humor and suburban absurdity. The cover by Bill Morrison and Mike Rote perfectly captures the episode’s offbeat energy.
