Freddy Fawn and Willy Weasel are startled by a series of fake scares in the woods, leading to a dramatic encounter with a lost polar bear who claims to need help finding his way home. When Willy tries to trick them again by pretending to be chased, Freddy and the others set a clever trap to teach him a lesson—only to reveal that the bear is actually a kind-hearted wanderer. The story ends with Willy promising never to scare anyone again, though the full truth of the twist remains just out of reach.
Sniffy the Pup, determined to join his friends on a hike despite being told he’ll only cause trouble, sneaks into their knapsack and stows away. As the group sets off, Sniffy’s hunger leads him to eat all the hot dogs, then he’s discovered and chased away—only to later surprise everyone by proving he knows his way around the woods, finding worms and fish to share.
Dudley rides his new bike with glee, eager to show it off to his friends. He’s unbothered by a passing comment about convertibles, proudly showing off his wheels with a cheerful, confident grin.
