Tenderfoot Scout Freddy Fawn is determined to complete a good deed before his troop meeting, but his well-intentioned attempts to help a drowning fish and a squirrel stuck in a tree only lead to embarrassment. When he’s tricked into delivering a basket of food to "Mrs. Woodchuck" — a ruse orchestrated by Willy Weasel and Percy Owl — he accidentally exposes their scheme, leading to a chaotic chase and an unexpected resolution.

Sniffy the Pup, fleeing from a dog-catcher, dons a cat mask to escape and accidentally gets mistaken for a cat, leading to a surprising turn of events when he's captured and then hailed as a hero by a group of stray cats. After being crowned an honorary cat, Sniffy finds himself in a new kind of trouble when the real cats he helped free don't take kindly to his new status.
