Space Colony Omicron is under attack and overrun by space pirates. Doctor Jarrod Keplar is killed by marauding bounty hunters while trying to lead his children Jan and Jace, and their dad's experimental research project Blip the chimp, to escape. Matters are made worse by the appearance of a powerful-but-invisible figure that pursues the kids. Rescue arrives in the form two Galactic Patrol officers... But are the officers, and the pursuing figure, what they initially appear to be? And what of the mysterious corporate entity known as "Robo Corp"?
