Tempus the Time-Master frees The Council of Doom from Omega prison as a distraction to surprise-attack Space Ghost. A fierce battle erupts between the Ghost Team and Tempus, resulting in Space Ghost and Blip being sent back to "Earth, 68 million years ago" and Jan and Jace sent forward to "Cetia-7, 30 years from now". There the kids find a civilization in ruins, overrun by rock robots... and meet an old "friend". Tempus gathers his Time Tyrants to retrieve Space Ghost from the prehistoric past, in order to harvest his energy.
