An anthology issue featuring "True Stories of All Time Champions." One story depicts a baseball player named Rod who wishes to hit the first pitch in a world series game, with Cole taking root on base and attempting to score a home run. Another story chronicles boxer Bob Fitzsimmons' rise to prominence, beginning with his entry into Jim Maces' amateur boxing tournament in Timaru, New Zealand in 1880, followed by his defeat of various opponents and eventual move to San Francisco in 1890, where he secures fights through manager Barney Farley at the Olympic Club, ultimately earning his first bout and beginning his path to championship status. The issue also includes a fashion advertisement section featuring French-inspired women's dresses.
