# Sport Thrills #15 This issue is an anthology featuring multiple sports stories. One story follows Dick, a baseball player who hits a grand slam homer to win a game, then attempts a daring gamble by trying to score from third base on a sacrifice grounder despite an injured hand, ultimately sliding safely home. Another story chronicles the rise of boxer Jim Braddock, born in New York's Hell's Kitchen in 1905, who won an amateur boxing contest at an early age, trained in a neighborhood gym, and engineered a sensational comeback in the boxing world after being counted out. The issue also includes a wrestling story featuring "The Thimble," a wise-guy wrestler who battles opponents in the ring.
