"Army of Dead Spies" follows Private Koto, a Japanese soldier recruited into a secret spy network during World War II. After five years of rigorous training to become a Kempei Tai agent, Koto is sent to North Africa on a covert mission involving business fronts and banks. When Japan surrenders, Koto is ordered to disband the spy organization and eliminate evidence, but discovers an American operative has infiltrated the operation, leading to a desperate chase across the desert where Koto attempts to recover secret information and escape with a woman named Zariba before the American spy catches him.
