Belmountiern L'Drr har gjort så att så fort Stålmannen använder sin superstyrka, så slår den tillbaka på honom själv. L'Drr utpressar sedan FN till att ge honom allt radioaktivt material som finns på Jorden. Stålmannen får dock hjälp av en belmountisk doktor, Billy Anders och Billys lodjur att stå emot L'Drr.
