Star Brand #14
In "Sins of the Father...", the Star Child returns to Jane and Roger Price seeking answers, only to face a tragic moment when he kills Roger in self-defense—despite Roger posing no real threat. Confronting his father, Ken Connell, now consumed by power, the Star Child makes the difficult choice to remove the Star Brand, knowing it will shatter Connell’s mind. With a final act of mercy, he restores Roger to life, giving him a body without flaw. Written and drawn by John Byrne, with inks by Tom Palmer, Chris Ivy, and Tom Morgan, colors by Andy Yanchus and Greg Wright, and letters by Jim Novak, the cover by Byrne captures the weight of this pivotal moment.
