A half-dead frogman is rescued by a sub in the Arctic. How can he tell what happened when no one will believe?... The mission started in the Pacific, but the sub was sent to the polar ice cap to check a weather station. In the Arctic, frogmen encounter a coelacanth, sea serpent, swimming dinosaur and more. They take pictures that show only water, so the sub thinks they suffer "rapture of the deep". At the weather station, an ice-covered dinosaur grabs the sub. Setting off a charge drops the sub back in the ocean. The frogman is rescued, the sub safe, but nobody believes them!
