“Rabbit Run!”

In "Rabbit Run!", Steel faces a dangerous new threat when he’s ambushed by the White Rabbit’s clone, Worm, and whisked to her hidden HQ—only to be offered a dark deal and a deadly choice. With his armor gone and his ally Double arriving just in time, the fight escalates as Steel’s suit returns in a flash, forcing him to defend himself and his new partner from a team of super-powered enforcers. The issue ends with a chilling twist: Tyke has vanished, leaving Steel to wonder what the Rabbit’s next move will be. Written by Louise Simonson and illustrated by Chris Batista with art by Phil Gosier, inks by Rich Faber, colors by Dave Grafe, and letters by Pat Brosseau, the cover by Batista and Faber captures the tension perfectly.

After taking on the White Rabbit’s cloning henchman, Worm, an armorless Steel was teleported to the Rabbit’s HQ. She revealed to John Henry her plan to supply America with hi-tech assault weapons, and offered him a piece of the action, but John refused and the Rabbit decided to kill him. Just then, Steel’s newfound ally Double burst in. A battle ensued, and Steel’s armor “teleported” back onto his body in time for him and Double to take on White Rabbit’s super-powered team. But the ever-resourceful Rabbit managed to escape capture, and Steel returned home to discover that Tyke has disappeared.
