An anthology of three supernatural tales: "Tideswept Terror" depicts newlyweds Ned and Cathie discovering an old shipwreck and encountering the malevolent ghost of the Banshee Belle, a spectral vessel that emerges from beneath the sea to seek vengeance. "The Living Proof" follows a scientist named Lee working with the sinister Professor Dubrow, who develops a formula to restore life using butterflies and schemes to murder Lee and dispose of his body to conceal his discovery. A third story features a publisher named B.S. Fitts who, after being stripped and transported to a bizarre subterranean realm by a strange woman, finds himself enslaved and forced into a mud-hole by her otherworldly servants before she inexplicably grants him pleasurable sensations.
