Strange Mysteries #10 is an anthology featuring two stories. "Long Strange Journey" opens the issue, following a man determined to capture a rare quetzal bird in Costa Rica for a $10,000 reward offered by Dr. Henry Lumins, leading him into the jungle with warnings from locals about the dangers. The second story, "Tropical Madness," depicts a surgeon's descent into paranoia and madness, including a quarrel with his wife over a house and a mysterious incident on a ship's deck involving what may be supernatural forces, culminating in doubt about whether events are real or imagined.
