Sub-Mariner Comics #31
In "The Man Who Grew!", Namor faces off against his cunning foe Dr. Dill, who devises a dangerous growth serum with the intent of transforming the Sub-Mariner into a colossal figure—so feared and reviled by humanity that he’ll be driven from the surface world. With the plan set to culminate in a daring sea-based gold heist, Namor must confront both the physical threat of unchecked expansion and the psychological weight of isolation. Inker George Klein brings the escalating tension to life in this 1949 classic, a standout moment in the early adventures of Marvel’s Sub-Mariner.
